Encouraging the next generation into the construction industry

As part of our commitment to encouraging the next generation into the construction industry, we held a skills day recently with year 5 children from Colville Primary School to give them a chance to learn first hand some of the roles available from a number of our subcontractors.

The children found the session really rewarding with the chance to try bricklaying, learning about carpentry and also the wiring that goes into a home. We also had the opportunity to meet some of the parents to discuss opportunities for further training at the new NHBC Cambridge Training Hub.
